Belly Buster 50/50 Double Cheeseburger Challenge!!

A&Z #1027 - professional eater Randy Santel versus Hollow Spirits Belly Buster 50/50 Double Cheeseburger Challenge hosted by Hollow Spirits Distillery in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My beautiful girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos gave me for Christmas a trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico to spend a few days with my friend Scott and his girlfriend Mattie. We also each attempted 2 food challenges to celebrate the end of a great 2021 and the start of a hopefully incredible 2022. For food challenge event #2 to kick off 2022, we traveled to downtown Albuquerque, NW to attempt and help kick off the new Belly Buster 50/50 Double Cheeseburger Challenge w/ lots of bacon hosted by our friends Tristin, Frank, Donna with Hollow Spirits Distillery. I had 1 hour to feast on two giant 2lb 50/50 beef burger patties made with 50% short rib & brisket, and then 50% beef chorizo which is homemade by executive chef Tristin and his team. They were stacked on a giant sourdough bun and layered with Cheddar cheese slices, topped with bacon, 2 over-easy fried eggs, grilled green chilies, and some homemade Chipotle mayo sauce. The double cheeseburger was served with a side of fries topped with parmesan cheese and bacon bits. I was trying to become the 2nd challenge champion to earn my $98 meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on their Wall of Fame. Thanks to Frank, Donna, Tristin, and their team for the delicious food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to the people who came that Saturday afternoon in early January to watch and meet us!! There is plenty of bacon served on top with New Mexican green chilies too. - The burger patties are made with 50% beef short rib and brisket, and then 50% beef chorizo. - There are two over-easy fried eggs on top with Chipotle mayo on the top and bottom bun. - They use a giant freshly baked sourdough bun and the challenge includes a portion of fries topped with shredded parmesan cheese and bacon bits. There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything. The Old-Fashioned cocktail and alcohol drank in this video was optional and just to promote Hollow Spirits. - Winners earn the $98 cheeseburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame!!
