For the latest GRAMMY Rewind, we revisit the Red Hot Chili Peppers' first-ever win, for Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal for "Give It Away" at the 35th GRAMMY Awards in 1993. In true '90s Chili Pepper fashion, the band accepted the award mostly shirtless, with only John Frusciante donning a shirt. Frontman Antony Kiedis rocks his long hair down, wearing just a golden, floral skirt, name dropping Little Richard, Sinéad O'Connor, and Howard Stern and thanking Mother Nature "for giving this universe music."
