HDPE. Plastic is a common type that can be melted at around 280 degrees Fahrenheit. After cleaning and sorting the plastic I shredded it in a blender before melting it inside a rubber mold. I used a guitar kit for parts and to make the mold. This was a really fun project and I am looking forward to figuring our ways to recycle more HDPE and other types of plastic like polypropylene. #HDPE #recycling This video is sponsored by Skillshare Links: Jessies video on recycling plastic bags https://youtu.be/ZvwOL_QOs-I HOEK FURNITURE (made from recycled HDPE) https://www.hoekhome.com/ Other youtubers I learned from Peter Brown – SHOP TIME https://youtu.be/hyP7YJ9O3TY The Brothers Make https://youtu.be/-igxhoGEQFU Precious Plastics – ONE ARMY https://youtu.be/76AFNIxYjUE Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/benjaminuyeda/ For additional projects and information check out our website: http://www.homemade-modern.com/
