Do you remember Garry? A giant snail Sue brought in? He has been living in an small plastic container this whole time! Let s change that! Sue and Sam work together to give Garry a house of his dreams! To make a house for a giant snail, you will need acrylic glass and special acrylic glue, metal hinges and bright tape for decoration. Ask an adult to help you cut the glass and drill holes in it. Be very careful! Once all the parts are ready, glue them together. Attach the hinges to the roof and to the side of the house. This roof will make the house look even more like the real thing! Use the tape to cover all sharp edges. If you use tape of a bright color, like yellow, it will brighten up your room as well. When the house is assembled, time to make it comfortable for the snail! First, add a thick layer of fresh soil. Then place some natural elements, like a branch or a grass patch. Don t forget to place a bowl of fresh water and some food. Snails like vegetables and fruit! Sam and Sue hope that Garry will be comfortable in his new home and he won t run away again.
