How to Clean a Blue Claw Crab
This video shows how to clean a blue claw crab (Callinectes sapidus). -Please put your crabs in ice water to numb them so this is as humane as possible. Then just follow what is done in the video. It is easy... There is a recipe at the end of the video and below: water vinegar 1 dozen live blue crabs 1/2 cup OLD BAY Seasoning DIRECTIONS (from the old bay website) In a pot with a raised rack (minimum of 2 inches high), add equal quantities of water and vinegar to just below level of rack. Bring to a boil. Carefully layer crabs on rack; sprinkle each layer with OLD BAY.
