I was SCARED to speak for YEARS... Now it s my Job? | MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO

This is a secret I ve never told publicly. I m sure many people won t believe it, but it s true. I was terrified to speak for most of my life. Now it s job is to speak on camera... every day... to millions of people. As an adventure travel YouTuber and travel tv host, Getting over this fear has been one of the biggest and most rewarding challenges of my life. I thought it was about time I made a video about it. I want to talk about a side of my life that few have heard about. I had just finished recording a Podcast called "Living Vividly" with the Guys from Vivid Roots. This inspired me to make a full length video about it. Those who spent the majority of their life silent, sometimes have more to say than everyone else. I feel that this is my case. A couple terrible events in my childhood really set me up for experiencing a lot of social anxiety in high school. Fear was part of my everyday life. But what if you could change your relationship with that feeling? The usual reaction to fear, is more fear. It s like a roaring fire, and we just add more and more to the flame. Our mind spins, we lose control and fear takes the wheel. It s not a good driver. It doesn t think about tomorrow, nor what s best for you, nor what your long term goals are. Through travel, I was able to encounter experiences that allowed me to challenge the terror that was holding me back from being my best self. I wanted to share some of this motivation with you, in hopes you can make a more knowledgeable decision when you find yourself in a similar position.
