http://bit.ly/WilUltra97 Ideal for intermediate and advanced players, the Wilson Ultra 97 is a lively modern player’s racquet that does not skimp on control. Boasting a ‘whippy’ headlight balance and a maneuverable 11.4 ounce strung weight, this stick offers easy acceleration (making it suitable to a wide range of intermediates). The Ultra 97 also manages to provide an arm-friendly flex rating (64RA) without sacrificing the crisp and modern feel preferred by so many of today s players. From the baseline this stick’s fast and explosive feel makes it well-suited to ratcheting up the spin or cranking winners on the dead run. A few of our playtesters were impressed by this racquet s weight to stability ratio, noting a very solid feel for a lighter player s racquet. The relatively compact 97 square inch head definitely helps with control, giving this racquet a very accurate feel on big swings. At net the Ultra 97 feels speedy and surgical. Advanced ball strikers who require the stability of a traditionally weighted player’s racquet should have no problem weighting this one to perfection. With the Ultra 97, Wilson has delivered a very versatile all- court racquet to intermediate and advanced players.
