A day of traveling in Armenia, a small country in the Caucasus region at the intersection of Europe, Asia and the Middle East. I started the day in Yerevan, the capital city and took a taxi to the small village of Pokr Vedi where I had a guesthouse reserved for two nights. I then walked to the famous Christian monastery of Khor Virap, within sight of Turkey and Mount Ararat, where Noah's Ark landed and an important spiritual and cultural symbol for Armenians.
