Monster Italian Calzone Challenge near Orlando, Florida!!

A&Z #811 - Atlas vs Cafe Panuzzo s Monster Italian Calzone Challenge at Cafe Panuzzo s Italian Eatery in Oviedo, Florida which is northeast of Orlando, Florida. Hey everybody!! Back in early December 2019 a few days after Thanksgiving, as part of my "4th Quarter 2019" Food Challenge Tour, I flew from the Atlanta, Georgia area down to Florida for some food challenge events all around the state. For challenge #1, I went to Cafe Panuzzo s Italian Eatery in Oviedo, Florida which is to the northeast of Orlando, Florida. I took on their 5lb Monster Italian Calzone Challenge which was absolutely delicious. It was a supersized version of the "Special" calzone that is available on their menu, filled with meatball, pepperoni, mushroom, ham, green peppers, onions, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheeses. There was 3 lbs of filling wrapped inside 2 lbs of calzone pizza dough. Four people had previously won, including my friend Brandon "Da Garbage Disposal" Clark, so I was trying to become the 5th champion and win my meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and a spot on the Wall of Fame hanging up behind Cafe Panuzzo s front counter. The vegetables are cut fresh and the components all pair very well together!! – The calzone comes with 2 dishes of marinara sauce that are not required to be finished. – There is a 1 hour time limit to finish the entire calzone you are served. – The calzone can also be bought to serve a family of 2-4 people. – Winners receive the $25 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and a spot on their Wall of Fame.
