But I’m posting this video now just to emphasise that sunscreen really is an all year around product that the used on a daily basis, you can really see the difference in your skin. Today, I’ll just be discussing products that I love and that I feel others of all skin types will love too. As we all know, I am just a skinthusiast so whilst I know sunscreen basics I’d highly recommend watching this sunscreen playlist from Lab. Muffin Beauty science If you want some really scientific hard facts about sunscreen, myth busting, info on vitamin D deficiency and reasons why you would want to use sunscreen on a daily basis. All I can say from personally note is that I have seen a difference in the even skin tone of my skin and also the redness in my cheeks since using sunscreen everyday for like….years. Theres a ton of misinformation out there in regards to how sunscreens work, if physical or chemical sunscreens are better, questionable UV filters and more so please, check out that playlist after this video. I will of course link that in the description box. Before I get started, all of these sunscreens will be Korean or Japanese. Now that isn’t because I’m just obsessed with K beauty, but because their sunscreens changed the way I saw and used sunscreen. The majority of us, when it comes to sunscreen, still think of sunscreens as heavy, oily, smelly thick creams that slide off our skin into our eyes and screw up our skin. A lot of western brands just sell sunscreens for both body and face all in one and even when they are made for the face…they aren’t really are they? Korean brands have cracked sunscreens, the vast majority of their sunscreens feel like water on your skin, weightless, with zero white cast and usually with more protection than western brands. This is due to the way ingredients are approved for sunscreens in each country. To cut a long story short, the approval process in South Korea is a lot quicker, meaning newer and innovative ingredients are being used compared to in the US.
