Please stop buying turtles and tortoises when you aren t knowledgable on their needs or capable of providing for them for their full life. If you have a turtle or tortoise you cannot care for, do NOT release it. Find a rescue. Do not buy turtles off the side of the road. Do not buy any animal off the side of the road. You have no clue what you are supporting... well, hopefully now you do. Check online for your local Parks and Wildlife contact number if you live outside of texas and come across vendors like this. I m going to continue working on this every day. I ve gotten in contact with several news teams and have been given many contacts to connect with and attempt to get this regulated in texas and shut down overall in this state.
