4WD Action - Steve & Lynne s 80 Series LandCruiser Rebuild

In 2014 we were notified by our readers about a very sad story. Steve Hughes was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given six months to live. Rather than crawl up in a ball and feel sorry for himself, he and his partner Lynne decided they were going to make the most of every day, and headed off on their dream bucket-list trip around Australia. Unbelievably, two weeks into their trip, while Steve was receiving treatment for his cancer, their Landcruiser was stolen and burnt out. What happened over the course of the next week, was nothing short of a miracle. The 4WD industry rallied to help a mate in need and give Steve and Lynne another shot at their bucketlist trip.
