BBC presenter quits over diversity drive | Jeremy Kyle and Emma Webb

Radio 4 presenter Nigel Rees has accused the BBC of “wokery” after resigning from his programme after 46 years. The 77-year-old said there was a “BBC agenda” of having to include people of colour and disabled people on shows, which he described as a “fairly futile exercise”. Commentator Emma Webb: "As a woman, I would find it very offensive to think I had been selected because I fall into a particular identity category."
