Why I Chose to Help Another Bird YouTuber When Everyone Told Me NOT TO

Many of you asked me to help Caroline, many of you asked Caroline to ask me for help, and many of you asked me WHY I would help someone like Caroline, who, from her video thumbnails and titles, "doesn t appear to care about her birds". So why did I help her? Because she set her ego aside and ASKED for help. We had very real conversations, parts of which you will see in this video, parts of which you will not because we literally spent 1.5 days with her. I appreciate people who show commitment to bettering the lives of their birds. I also spoke with Marlene Mc Cohen who reminded me it wasn t just Caroline who would benefit from this sharing of information - but MANY people watching, going through the same things, the same struggle and the bigger picture is to help more birds. (Thanks for the reminder of that, girl!) I do not like making choices out of fear. MANY people told me not to associate with Caroline. But what spoke to me most was my inner voice saying, "This is your job. This is what you do, who you are. You HELP people which helps birds. Why would you turn someone away based solely on other people s opinions? Why would you not give that person a chance and be part of their transformation?" So it was something I felt I needed to do, and worst case, it would help a lot of people going through the same thing out there. Many of you asked for me to help her, and that s what we set out to do. I think it was eye opening for many of us.
