Comet s Broken Blood Feather! | What to Do With a Broken Blood Feather

My camelot macaw, Comet, somehow ended up with a broken blood feather that was bleeding a lot... he never gave any obvious signs of discomfort so I had to actually spot the blood on his play-stand to realize something was wrong at all! If you find yourself in this situation and don t know what to do, don t feel confident doing it or don t have the tools to do it properly, please take your bird to an avian vet immediately.
