Sungrazer comet pair vaporized by insanely strong solar radiation

A pair of sungrazer comets, which are likely fragments of each other, were vaporized by the sun by "insanely strong solar radiation," according to Naval Research Lab s Karl Battams. A massive solar coronal mass ejection can be seen in the ESA/NASA SOHO footage as well.
