Join me for a LIVE 30-Minute Power Leg Day Workout! An efficient + explosive, 30-minute lower body strength + power workout. This dumbbell leg workout is all about 30 second supersets! Back-to-back leg exercises -- dumbbell strength + power -- to keep your heart rate high throughout the entire workout. Beginners -- a good starting place for this workout is 5-10 lb weights. 2. More Advanced Fitness Enthusiasts -- 10-30 lbs (I m using 15lb and 20 lb dumbbells in this workout video). **Leg muscle definition comes from building muscle. Building muscle happens with progressive overload (increasing your weights). ►How often should I do this dumbbell leg workout? It all depends on your current fitness routine and goals. Try adding this power legs workout workout to your workout routine once a week. A good rule of thumb is giving yourself 48 hours to recover between training muscle groups. So if I train legs on Monday, the soonest I would train arms again is Wednesday. ►Leg workouts for women -- will it make me bulk up ? NO. Lifting weights will make you strong, not bulky.Women getting ‘bulky’ from strength training is a fitness myth. Lifting weights will NOT make you bulky — just stronger.
