Pathakattai Fish Catching | Cooking | Fishing in Village using traditional fish catching technology

In my village, we catching a lot of fishes in the river using traditional fish catching method. This Rare fish catching method is very easy and it is a very rare fish catching technology in Tamil Nadu. We use fish catching tool named pathakattai, pathal kattai, potha kattai or pothal kattai in tamil language. We catch following fishes in the river. Ayirameen, kendai meen, keluthi meen, koravai meen and some more rare river fishes. Our village grandpa cooking fishes with the traditional cooking method and it is very tasty fish curry.
