She tee d off, I hit approach shots to within chipping and putting distance. Now you ll see that I wasn t exactly holding the firm fast greens here at the Els Club Desaru http://www.elsclubmalaysia.com/ SHOP: https://waddaplayagolf.com FB GROUP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/waddaplaya/ IG: https://www.instagram.com/golfsidekick/ URL: https://golfsidekick.com/ We only hit 2 of 9 greens. But this is in fact good because it shows that Teaski could achieve similar things - it wasn t like I was getting great results out of the realms of reality. She just needs to work on small things. Hole 1: She could easily be on the green for three there with well planned shots. Okay, she may not put it that close and make a birdie, but at least we could say it s a bogey for her. She hit scorching drives on that hole both days. Hole 2: She could easily get on in three there as well by hitting it to the right short of the green for an easy pitch with LOTS OF GREEN to play with. Hole 3: This one is tough due to elevation and distance of the green. But Teaski could easily score better there than what we did if she laid it up short left and have a pitch onto the green for a two putt. She would save one shot by doing that compared to our result. Hole 4: I would say a bogey is in her capability, just hit it short of the green, chip it on, maybe a 3 maybe a 4. Hole 5: She needs to hit a shorter club off that tee.. We took a 10 there because she hit the driver into the water trying a funny half-shot and then a full shot into the trees and we never escaped. A simple 7 wood or hybrid into the fairway and we re looking at a 7 and saving 3 shots! Hole 6: This was my mistake but no problem we still on in three..From there, we MUST ALWAYS TWO PUTT. This comes with practice only. Practice your putting! Hole 7: Here s where my game is totally different. I hit a 6 iron over the back of the gren over the trees.. Teaski should really hit the second shot down to the right and hit a shot 80 yard shot onto the green and two putt for a 5 and at worst a 6. Not too bad for a 36 handicapper. Hole 8: Great stuff, she nearly got up and down and missing the green short there is better than anywhere else. Hole 9: Out of the fairway bunker she will struggle. This is a neglected part of the game. I got out of it pretty far so we had a wedge in. I would say we probably saved one stroke here as a 6 would probably be more likely for TEaski if she were alone. Overall, he game is improving and I think she is starting to see that hitting and hoping for a result is less effective than planning and plotting. Music by bensound.com and Audionautix
