Jump Started BACKWARDS?? (VW GTI not Charging)

This 2003 VW GTI has been so hacked that most shops wouldn t even touch it. Got towed in as a no-charge, after the owner apparently tried jump-starting it and accidentally REVERSED THE LEADS!! At least it starts and runs...let s see if we can sort out the mess and pinpoint the issue.
