PONGAL CELEBRATION | Mattu Pongal | Grand Tamil Special Festival Celebrate in Village by farmers

We treat Cows as our god. We treat Cows and bulls as our family members. Pongal is one of the grand festival of Tamil people, especially farmers. We celebrate the Pongal festival for almost more than a week. We also celebrate Thai Pongal as a Tamil new year. Because we celebrate a day before a Pongal as a pogi day mean last day of everything. The day after the Pongal, we celebrate Mattu Pongal means we farmers respect cow and bull for these hard work for farming. In this video, we show how we celebrate our traditional festival.
