It’s where we caught up with him to find out what’s ahead in 2019: “yeah, it was a good start and I’ll do the next British round (February 3) but I don’t think I’ll do every round this season. I’m down to do The Tough One in a couple of weeks. I’ve been spending a bit of time out in Spain where the weather’s a bit kinder in the winter. “I don’t plan to do the whole WESS championship this year either. While this news might signal the start of a slide towards retirement for whom many call the G.O.A.T of Extreme Enduro, it is also an ominous warning for his rivals. Graham’s work ethic for on-bike training is as legendary as the man – he spends hours and hours practising. The force that is Graham Jarvis is not set to blow out just yet. I’ll just stick to the hard enduros and focus on those because I’m getting on a bit, you know. Husqvarna realise I’m a getting older and need to take it a bit easier, focus on the events I’m good at and not do so much as we did last year.” This coming weekend will see Jarvis in the South of France for Alès Trêm before heading back to the UK for the Tough One the following weekend.
