Catch and Cook BIG TROUT {GRAPHIC} GUT, CLEAN & FILLET | Cook on a STICK

We do a catch and cook fish on a stick on a camp fire in the woods. We gut, clean and fillet the fish before cooking it fresh on a stick over an open camp fire in the forest. Cooking it primitive style in the woods was highly rewarding. We caught the fish by fly fishing. For the recipe, I used salt and pepper as seasoning, added some fresh lemon juice and then slowly cooked the fish over the heat of the fire. I boiled up some rice to go with it. I use primitive technology to create the fish hanging stick. Using natural cordage from pine tree roots in the ground. The main support stick was from a beech tree, as were the small side support sticks. The trout fillet was secured to the stick and lashed with the tree roots.
