Dancing Tehran: 17-year-old Maedeh Hojabri found herself confessing to moral crimes on Iranian state TV after authorities clamped down on her Instagram account. Her story inspired the viral #dancingisnotacrime protest. Subscribe to Journeyman here: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=journeymanpictures "I felt the pain because I went through what Maida went through" says journalist and activist Masih Alinejad, who published the story of Maida s arrest and confession under duress. "As a prisoner, I did a false confession. As a woman, I was punished because of dancing and taking off my hijab", says Alinejad. She saw the power of social media to unite the call for women s freedom, as women and men danced in solidarity.
