A tribute to extreme enduro legend GrahamJarvis from the lowly gumbies at http://www.crosstrainingenduro.com after an impressive ride at the 2016 Erzberg Rodeo (Red Bull Hare Scramble) - well done mate! Most of you will know Graham Jarvis is our enduro God. The man is a freak. The man is a legend. Even if his constant stream of emails to us can get annoying sometimes. Yesterday we watched the flawless run from Graham Jarvis to a third victory at the 2016 Erzberg Rodeo, a full thirty minutes ahead of the next rider, an epic achievement in extreme enduro for a guy now in his forties. This is just a short vid to say thanks Graham for being such an inspiration to all enduro riders, but especially us older guys. You show us that is it more about technique and skill than just youthful enthusiasm. You make us want to push our old creaky bones harder and try new things. Even if we only get to 20% of your ability, the huge smiles on our faces when we manage something new are worth all the bruises and aches at the end of the day. Thanks mate! It starts with footage of His Excellency in action, then rapidly degenerates into the feeble attempts of old gumby riders who should probably stop riding and take up chess or knitting. We recommend watching the first thirty seconds to see His Royal Highness doing his thing, then stop watching before massive disappointment sets in... although the gumby stuff can make for good comedy according to some. We ve said it before and we ll say it again - Sir Jarvis only has to say the word and we ll fly to Thailand for sex change operations on the chance we might have his babies one day.
