PROPOWER VOLT REVIEW: smallest lightest jump starter battery pack
From http://propowerinternational.com This ultra compact Volt battery and jump starter has been quite handy over the past year. One of the guys bought this portable power bank a while back because his KTM Freeride doesn t have a kickstart, and the Volt jump starter from Propower is small enough to throw in the backpack. Of course you can usually bump start your bike but a battery could always die when you are in the bottom of a gully. And there are quite a few bikes coming out now without kickstarts nowadays, and apparently fuel injected bikes have issues with being bump started too. The Volt portable power bank carries plenty of punch to start cars or larger bikes multiple times and comes with jumper leads and various connectors to charge Iphones, smart phones, GPS units and cameras. The Propower Volt jump starter battery holds its charge for around six months and can be recharged very rapidly. I figured I would get the Volt jump starter from Propower too as the DR650 is very hard to bump start and has no kickstarter. But it came in handy for the car too already. You hear of cheap little jump starters or portable power banks getting very hot or failing but these Volt jump starters from Propower seem to be top quality units so far, we ll report back here in the long-term if we do find any problems with the Volt battery from Propower.
