While appearing stock on the outside, it is powered by an S65 V8 and 6-speed manual transmission from the newer E90 generation M3. As Tyler from Technica tells it though, what appears to be a straightforward, slick build was actually quite an undertaking to get things to not only fit right, but work and look like they came from the factory.
