Fashion Illustration Tutorial: PVC/Clear Vinyl 4 Ways

MATERIALS & ILLUSTRATION PREP: 0:00 OPAQUE PVC METHOD 1: 4:15 OPAQUE PVC METHOD 2: 7:50 CLEAR VINYL: 10:24 COLORED CLEAR VINYL: 14:51 PVC/clear vinyl is a hot trend on the fashion catwalks right now, but it doesn t really matter, right? Fashion trends always cycle back. This category of fabrics are often thick and stiff in drape, and occasionally thinner and crinkly. Either way, don t draw them like a soft slinky silk. Many of them are sheer and colorless, some are sheer with some color, some are completely opaque. They are usually pretty shiny. I will go over all these types in this video.
