Part 2 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-7UPWahwAM I played Austin Heights in Malaysia, johor Bahru, with J-Mac after a few weeks of practice on the short game and the driver. We actually look at the putt, and with our X level thinking, we start to find ways to miss the putt, or better said, to NOT make it. I believe we are so convinced that failing is so bad, that we look for failure and design a self-defense mechanism so we can accept that we won t make a putt, and when we miss, it doesn t hurt as much. In this round, I focused on deciding what i want to do, feel it, see it then do it. On the greens, i literally looked at the ball and then the hole and picked the line, stepped up and hit it - not giving myself time to think. This nine, I shot level par, a pretty solid score with well-thought-out strategy and a great short game. On the back side is where things came alive in a rollerocaster of a nine holes. Always remember, you need a playing focus playas. You must have an objective for the round, a long term 18 hole mission that you can use as a distraction and a way to focus at the same time. Try to execute your mission at all times, regardless of good or bad shots or results of shots.
