My Cockatoo Bandit Gets MAD at ME! | Watch Me Work Through it in 2 MINUTES

As you can see in this video, because our lives change A LOT, it can affect our birds and mostly Bandit and my toucan Rocko are the most affected during or after trips. Bandit came on this trip but I wasn t able to hang out with him much at all on the second half of it because plans changed regarding shows and places we cared for them/stopped at weren t super safe to have them out while on the road. So the little guy was a little upset and let me know in the NICEST way possible by refusing to step up... Many times I recommend to "reset" by leaving and trying again later but in this situation I really needed to move Jinx out of the car and into this aviary so I stuck it out. Worst case, however, I could have put Jinx in a different aviary - ensuring I would never have to use "force" to get Bandit out (always try to set yourself and bird up for success in this way, where you never have to use brutal force of toweling or anything unless 100% necessary. And even then, have someone else do it so it is not associated with you if possible.) Just because I am a trainer doesn t mean I m perfect or that my birds are.
