It was there where they met Maestro Bob Moody, who was the conductor of the youth orchestra. Maestro Moody greatly influenced Nick s and Zack’s musical upbringing, teaching them the music of great classical composers like Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, and Mozart. Not only did he teach them the structure of the music and how to play it effectively, but Maestro Moody went beyond this and taught the meaning of each piece and the powerful feelings and experiences that inspired the creation of each note. It brought a whole new meaning to music, and it inspired Nick and Zack to become better performers and musicians. Fast forward to now, Maestro Moody is the newly appointed music director of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, where he continues to inspire musicians and audiences with his charisma, love of music, and passionate performances. Over the years Simply Three has been invited by Maestro Moody to perform with him and with some of his orchestras.
