Pros and Cons of Keeping Pet Parrots CAGELESS! One of the things I meant to say was, "They don t appear to be NEGATIVELY affected by the lack of 12 hours of sleep." I do see them make up for it with quiet naps during the day sometimes, and they re definitely quieting down around 7pm, and not really getting vocal until 7am, even if I see them wake around 6:45am or so.
