An in-depth walkaround of the new Morgan Super 3 The new Morgan Super 3 shares a lot of its looks with our old favourite the 3 Wheeler, but under the skin things have changed. The engine is now on the inside and air-cooled and rather than a vee-twin derived from a Harley engine it’s now a 1.5-litre Ford engine producing 120PS (88kW) and 150Nm (110lb ft). The new car will do 0-62mph in seven seconds, exactly the same as the old one, because it now weighs more. But will it still have the same soul as the 3 Wheeler? Moving from air-cooled to liquid cooled, exterior-mounted engine to interior and with digital dials for the first time will this be as instantly iconic?
