But getting it isn’t as scary as it seems! Check out or article on how to cope with COVID-19 while overseas: https://thetravelintern.com/testing-positive-for-covid-overseas/ 1:29 - Praça do Comércio Large square facing the harbour, in the center of the square is a statue dedicated to King Joseph I (one of the most notable Kings in Portuguese history), and on the north face is the triumphant Rua Augusta Arch 1:47 - Rua Agusta Arch 2:23 - Santa Justa Lift A 45 m tall lift in the middle of the city with a nice observation deck to see the whole of the Baixa area 3:29 - A Ginjinha Portuguese liqueur made by Ginja berries (it s like a cherry i guess), sometimes served in a chocolate cup 4:47 - Belem Tower A UNESCO heritage site, built sometime between 1514 and 1520. Tower was used to defend the city. 5:33 - Pastéis de Belém Most famous and probably the standard of egg tarts is Lisbon 6:46 - Jerónimos Monastery UNESCO heritage site. The religious building was designed by the Portuguese architect Diogo de Boitaca to commemorate the return of Vasco da Gama from India. The construction began on 6 January 1501 and wasn’t completed until the seventeenth century. 7:03 - Lisbon Cathedral Oldest and most iconic religious building, constructed sometime in the 12th century 7:17 - St. George’s Castle The oldest parts of the castle date back to the 6th century. It sits on one of Lisbon s 7 hills and thus offers dank views of the whole city! The castle can be seen from quite a few parts of the city actually 7:50 - Outro
