Luca and Alba chose each other. Alba, a five-year-old affected by Down syndrome, was left at the hospital right after she was born. When Luca saw her, he immediately knew she was meant to be his daughter. Their story is an intersection of different stories: disability, homosexuality, single fatherhood, adoption. Today, Luca and Alba live a pretty simple life, like any other family.
