When you arrive in Gold Coast at the Coolangatta Airport the car ride is about 30 minutes to Gold Coast City center along Cavill Avenue. The first day I arrived in Gold coast it was nice and sunny but then the weather changed and most of Queensland got a much needed rainy forecast to offset some of the fires.
