Unbeaten for 4 Years!! Hogan’s “Crusty Cob” Scottish Burger Challenge in Kilmarnock, Scotland!!

A&Z #1100 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Hogan s "Crusty Cob" Scottish Burger Challenge hosted by Hogan s Sandwich & Burger Bar in Kilmarnock, Scotland of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 2-week Northern Ireland Tour, @KatinaEatsKilos and I spent 3 weeks exploring most of the major cities and areas around Scotland. During our travels, I attempted 12 Scottish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #3, we headed to Hogan s Sandwich & Burger Bar located in Kilmarnock, Scotland so I could attempt Hogan s giant "Crusty Cob" Scottish Burger Challenge which hadn t been beaten in almost 4 years!! My friend "Steel Rod" Radim from Ostrava, Czech Republic first beat the challenge back in 2018. I had 1 hour to feast on 1kg of Scottish beef split up into two ~1lb hamburger patties, stacked and layered with 8 rashers of bacon, over 1lb of shredded cheddar cheese, healthy lettuce, burger sauce, and more, all on a freshly baked "Crusty Cob" hamburger bun from the local bakery. There were 8 fried onion rings served on the side. I was trying to become only the 2nd person to finish and win my £25 cheeseburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Hogan s Wall of Fame. I was also trying to beat Radim s 31:05 time record and win the extra £100 incentive prize!! Hogan s proudly serves homemade burgers, sandwiches, and munchie boxes, plus freshly made crepes, waffles, smoothies, and milkshakes... and plenty more!! - This "Crusty Cob" Scottish Burger Challenge is one of the 3 food challenges that Hogan s offers. - The challenge is named after the "Crusty Cob" bun that is freshly prepared by a local bakery. - There is 1kg of Scottish beef split up into two large ~1lb burger patties - cooked medium rare. - There are 8 rashers of Scottish bacon and there is over 1lb of shredded cheddar cheese. - The cheeseburger has some healthy lettuce plus burger sauce on top and each layer of the "Crusty Cob" bun is covered with lots of delicious butter. There are 8 fried onion rings served on the side. - There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything.
