Freerider Jochen Mesle takes a unique trip to Greece with his HEAD Kore skis for a Snowmads movie called “Ya Mas – Snowmads in Greece.” When you think about Greece you think about beaches and summer, and not skiing. But in fact, Greece has some of the most interesting mountains and winter landscapes to ski. Greece always was a goal for Jochen and when they arrived to Kalavryta (150 km west of Athens) they got a gift of a storm that dropped the most snow in many years, filling up the mountain every night with fresh powder. He went with an all-time crew, had the best snow, met super friendly people who welcomed them with open arms, watched the Greeks enjoying skiing, and of course had super tasty food. On the first week of the trip in Kalavryta, the main lifts where closed, so the crew toured and had the whole alone. After skiing, they had the most tasty dinners in really friendly and humorous company in the town. Crew included Jochen Mesle (Head Freerider), Fabian Lentsch, Marco Freudenreich and Simon Platzer (filmmakers), Elias Holzknecht and Pally Learmond (photographers) and the rest of the Snowmads (Aymar Navarro, Julian Zenzmaier, Neil Williman, Roman Rohrmoser, Raphael Webhofer, Markus Ascher. » Subscribe to Head Ski: http://go.head.com/YTskisubscribe » View more Head Ski Videos: https://youtube.com/headski HEAD SKI ON SOCIAL Follow Head Ski on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/head_ski/ Like Head Ski on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/headski Follow Head Ski's Blog: https://www.head.com/en/news/ski/ Visit Head Ski's Website: http://go.head.com/headskiing Head Ski on YouTube features skiing videos from around the globe from athletes, ski racing, alpine downhill, freestyle, freeskiing, powder, big-mountain, all-mountain, piste-skiing, carving, slopeside, World Cup Rebels, and more.
