I worked hard to shoot around my handicap of 4 and I did just that with a 77. Yes. Was it frustrating? Yes. But was it frustrating because of the strategy? No. That was because I was playing inside my own head. This course is a challenge and it pushed me mentally. The views from the tee and approaches with all the intricate slopes and hollows and drop offs was difficult to manage but as long as you get the ball into a position to get up n down, you can scrape together a score. Relax, take each shot as it comes. Frustration is inevitable but if you keep playing the safe shot, you won t make many doubles or triples. This is key to reducing the damage.
