What do you do if wood is in good condition, but just has some scratches? Do you paint it, strip it, or re-stain it...? Painting wood isn t always a good idea, and stripping and re-staining is overkill on wood furniture that is generally in good condition but just has some scratches. In this furniture makeover, I m going to show you how to hide scratches in wood furniture. This will work to get scratches out of wood floor, too (and kitchen cabinets). See how I restored this old $20 wooden rocking chair without stripping, using wood repair markers, a wipe-on restorer solution (satin finish), and new fabric!
