The information presented in this video comes from the "Fourth National Climate Assessment," published in 2018 by the US Global Change Research Program administered by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Climate change is one of the most intensively studied phenomena in the world today. This video offers a brief summary of the direction of Earth s climate today. Researchers have documented changes in a range of areas, including land, atmospheric and ocean temperatures, glacial melting, shrinking sea ice, rising sea levels, ocean acidification, increased water vapor and more. It s hard, given what we know and what many people around the world have experienced, that climate change is already a distressing reality.
