Welcome to Day 5 of the Rise & Shine Yoga Challenge! ☀️ A gentle slow flow class with deep stretches to help improve flexibility. We will begin by consciously tuning into the breath before moving into a seated warm up of cat/cows and neck stretches. Open the chest and shoulders with thread the needle and melting heart pose. Stretch the hamstrings and hips with rag doll, low lunge, side bends, lizard and wide legged forward fold. Slow down the mind with long held stretches of head to knee pose, revolved head to knee and double pigeon. Enjoy the final few minutes of class in reclined butterfly or savasana.
