We Were Hit By A Storm! Time To Rebuild! (A Broken Man Too)

One of the beutiful things of the house was the lavish over the top fencing, little did we know we would be paying for it ourselves again soon haha. We have to match the rest of the existing fence and the other side of the house so have little option. The price of wood has more than doubled of recent so this is a very expensive job! Turned out they were concreted in just below the surface so it took a digger to get the old posts out! Kindly our neighbour was on hand to help, would have never done it without one. New posts went in with a massive amount of concrete (had to fill the hole that was made to get them out!) so hopefully they shouldn t go anywhere for some time! We ve only replaed the 14 posts that fell sos far as there are 42 in total on that side that need attention but the cost is too big for now. Hopefully once they are painted can get new rails for the front and get that secured once again. We were preparing for summer to get alpacas but we need to make sure all the perimiter etc is secure and build the shed/hut for them first! The dogs and Amelia were happy enough to explore though whilst Shane cried! He says they are gate posts double the thickness of a normal fence at 8x8 Well it will look nice when its done haha.
