Watch our Associate Editor Matt Coté follow Ali Haeri and Andrew McNab down the north face of Whitehorn Mountain: the northern most 11,000er in the Canadian Rockies—smack dab across from Mount Robson. Snow rarely sticks to the glaciated shady side of this remote 3,399-metre prominent peak that required a one-day approach to base camp, and then a 13-hour-return push, starting at 4 a.m. By all accounts, these are the first ski tracks this face has ever seen, and they were so improbably pow-y, your mom could have skied it!
