Rough cut of the first test flight we did with the Jet Wingsuit Project last fall. After the exit, it takes me around 750 ft to get flying smoothly, and start revving up the engines towards the 60% power we where using for the first two flights. Once the engines are powered up, the flying is close to level, with brief moment of slight climb and descend (depending on angle) and cruising around for a good 2 minutes without losing any altitude. Once fuel starts running low (jumping with only half capacity) the engines are revved down, and I deploy the main parachute. Just to be sure both engines are off, I also pull the engine release (that switches off the full electrical circuit to the engines) while the parachute is opening. From there its a smooth ride down to the ground.
