Below is a list of all the Korean foods we tried in this video, as well as a list of the restaurants we visited. Mandu (๋งŒ๋‘) These are dumplings that can be served steamed, boiled, pan-fried, or deep-fried. We ordered the pan-fried beef dumplings. You can dip them in a spicy soy-based sauce with red chilli flakes. Jeon (์ „) This is a savoury Korean pancake that can feature various ingredients. We got the one with seafood and rice cakes. The batter is very fluffy and a bit like a fritter. Hot dog (ํ•ซ๋„๊ทธ) Also known as a Korean rice dog, this is a hot dog on a stick, coated in a sweet batter. It can feature numerous toppings including panko breadcrumbs, french fries, cornflakes, and even ramen noodles. Hotteok (ํ˜ธ๋–ก) This stuffed pancake is a very popular Korean street food item, especially during the winter months. The dough is stuffed with a mixture of brown sugar, honey, chopped peanuts, and cinnamon. Hodugwaja (ํ˜ธ๋‘๊ณผ์ž) Often called a walnut cookie, this is more like a donut hole made with pounded walnuts and wheat flour and then stuffed with red bean paste. It is a local specialty from the city of Cheonan, South Korea and it s also a popular snack to enjoy during train rides. Bibimbap (๋น„๋น”๋ฐฅ) This is one of the most popular dishes you can try in Korea. It consists of a bed of rice topped with various vegetables which can include zucchini, soybean sprouts, mushrooms and more. It s typically topped with a fried egg and gochujang sauce which is a fermented red pepper paste. Tteokbokki (๋–ก๋ณถ์ด) This Korean street food dish is made with sticky rice cakes served in a spicy red chilli paste sauce. Super tasty and fun to eat! โžก๏ธ Korean restaurants we visited in Toronto: โฌ…๏ธ Sunrise House: 661 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6G 1L1 Chung Chun Rice Dog: 615 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6G 1K8 Hodo Kwaja: 656 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6G 1K9 The Owl Buu Ung Ee: 700 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6G 1L5 * * * * * * * * * * * * KOREAN Street FOOD TOUR of Toronto s KOREATOWN | 7 Delicious Korean Dishes You Must Try!
