This first-generation Honda Insight is interesting in that it was Honda s first entry into the Hybrid space, as well as being a full-on traditional manual transmission. Unlike Toyota s prius, which alternates between gas and electric drive (I m paraphrasing), the Insight uses both at the same time, all the time, operating more like a traditional sports car. The Insight s hybrid system is one of the few that can be modified for more power, and even though this one has nearly 300,000 miles on the clock, it shows little signs of wear.
