Nothing like a little love and chaos on Valentines day

Eizzo (the moustache parakeet) is staying with us for a bit so we have an additional helper. Cookie Recipe ½ cup fresh almond butter ¼ cup Unsweetened applesauce 1 large egg 1 ¼ cups almond flour 1 tsp baking soda Food grade food dye (optional) Sliced almonds (optional) Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl mix almond butter, applesauce and egg. Mix on high until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine. Roll in balls, slightly flatten. Make heart shape with almond. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove cookies from oven but allow cookies to sit on baking pan for 5 minutes before putting on a plate. Cool and let birds enjoy! **Feel free to cut recipe in half as it makes a bunch of tiny cookies**
