The outstanding Venezuelan jumper Yulimar Rojas won the gold in the Women’s Triple Jump (Athletics) event of the Tokyo 2020 (in 2021) Olympic Games at the Tokyo Olympic Stadium with a massive distance of 15.67. She was followed to the podium by Patricia Mamona of Portugal and Spain s Ana Peleteiro. After breaking an Olympic record with her first jump, Rojas fouled on her penultimate effort before breaking the world record with a dramatic final go at it.
