Once you’re done with Seoul, head out and explore the photogenic Nami island, taste the best bibimbap in Jeonju, and have the freshest seafood in Busan. Korea isn’t huge so all these places can be comfortably covered through a day trip from Seoul; on a scenic train ride of under 2.5 hours. A trip to Korea doesn t have to be too expensive! Get your Korail Pass: http://bit.ly/2z1lAO0 Seoul 0:25 - Gyeongbokgung Palace Twice a day (10AM & 2PM), you can catch the guard changing ceremony which is perfect if you’re coming from Tosokchon after lunch. 0:31 - Tosokchon Samgyetang Rich bowls of ginseng samgyetang that s so popular that you have to queue for at least 20 minutes. They also serve really good Kimchi and a complimentary shot of Ginseng wine which you can add to the soup or have it on it’s own for an added kick of Ginseng. 0:35 - N Seoul Tower Best seen at golden hour, this is probably the most iconic building of Seoul and is the best place to get a panoramic view of the city. Bring your own locks if you’re planning to leave one here but please don’t throw your keys over the ledge. 0:40 - Everland Hands down the best theme park in Korea for the big kids. Be sure to try the T-Express! Gapyeong 0:51 - Nami Island Nami Island is a tiny but extremely scenic half-moon shaped island that s popular amongst couples. 1:00 - Petite France Instagrammable french cultural village near Nami Island. Check out the Marionette Dance show held at the outdoor theatre! 1:03 - The Garden of Morning Calm Never ending garden views, which is a great change from metropolitan Seoul 1:07 - Gangchon Rail Park Pedal through multiple themed tunnels on 2/4 seater rail bikes Jeonju 1:19 - Jeonju Hanok Village Explore over 700 traditional Hanok houses in the heart of the city. Climb Omokdae (오목대) pavilion for the best views. 1:25 - Jaman Mural Village Small village of houses covered with colourful murals. 1:28 - Gogung Bibimbap Best bibimbap in Korea. Enough said. Busan 1:46 - Haeundae Beach Korea’s most famous beach resides in Busan where the city meets the sea. In summer you’ll see the entire sand space lined with beach chairs and sun shades. 1:51 - Premium Busan Fish Cake Goraesa 2:00 - Gamcheon Culture Village Nicknamed the Machu Picchu or Santorini of Busan, the village is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain. 2:07 - Jagalchi Market Head here for the freshest seafood in Korea.
